User Roles and Permissions

A detailed overview of the various roles and associated permissions in the Iluminai platform.



Overview

Roles determine what users can see and do within the Iluminai platform. There are administrative roles that are designed for people responsible for managing accounts and settings in Iluminai. Non-administrative roles let people use Iluminai's tools and access key features.


User roles

The Iluminai platform supports the following types of User Roles:

Owner

  • The Owner(s) have the highest level of control and access within the Account.
  • They can perform all actions, view all data, and manage any roles and permissions within the account, including Admins, Branch Admins, Agents, and Team Admins.

Admin (or Administrator)

  • Has access to all areas of the Backoffice and view all data and forms created by all users, can invite and manage Users, and can configure account properties and workflows.
  • Admins can manage Branch Admins, Agents, and Team Admins.

Branch Admin

  • Has limited access to the areas and features of the Backoffice; specifically they can only access the Account Management area.
  • They can manage Teams, Agents, and Team Admins.

Agent

  • Has access to the Agents area where FINTRAC Identification Records and other forms can be completed.
  • They can only view the data and forms which they have created, unless they are part of a Team, in which case they can also view all forms created by other Agents within that Team.

Team Admin (or Agent Team Admin)

  • Similar to Agents, Team Admins also have access to the Agents area and can perform many of the same functions. In addition, they have the authority to manage Team membership.
