I can't download or find the PDF from the Iluminai Mobile App

Allow the Iluminai Mobile App to have access to your phone's file system.

Enable file permissions

To be able to download PDFs from the Iluminai app onto your phone, you will need to enable access to your Files apps.

How you enable file permissions depends on your device type.

For iOS

Follow the relevant steps for your device below:

  1. Open the Settings app
  2. Go to Privacy & Security
  3. Find Files & Folders

For Android

Follow the relevant steps for your device below:

  1. Open the Settings app
  2. Go to Apps
  3. Find Iluminai
  4. Click Permissions

  1. Select Files and media

  1. Set to Allow access to media only

Note: The screenshots and steps above are for a Samsung Galaxy S10+ (Android version 12) device. The steps may be different to your specific model of phone, in that case you can Google search for:

Find the downloaded PDF on your device

If you've downloaded a PDF on the Iluminai app and cannot find where it was saved - here's how you can find it.

For iOS

Follow the relevant steps for your device below:

  1. Open the Files app
  2. You will see 3 options in the bottom navigation bar, select the right-most one: "Browse"
  3. Under the locations heading, select On My iPhone

  1. Click the Iluminai folder

Note: You may not see the Iluminai folder until you have downloaded a PDF from the app.

  1. Inside the Iluminai folder is where you will find downloads from the app

For Android

Follow the relevant steps for your device below:

  1. Open the My Files app
  2. Under Categories, go to Downloads

  1. Inside the Downloads folder is where you will find your downloads
